As a professional car detailer, it never ceases to amaze me when people will book in their cars in for a professional detail, and then when I arrive they present me with their own set of products and cloths to use on their car. This usually happens when the car dealer who sold them a new car has told them that you MUST use these products or the paint will deteriorate.
If you have been told this by your car salesman, I would like to reassure you.

The products we use, we have PERSONALLY TESTED.
Would you believe that the most expensive products are not necessarily the best? Inside our vans are a tried-and-tested mix of the products that give the BEST RESULTS. We have personally selected a specific range that includes everything from a cheap (and top secret!) item you can buy in Coles or Woolworths… right up to one of the most expensive Carnauba waxes available in Australia. The mix of products we choose are not based on price or brand, they are based on experience and RESULTS. For example, the Carnauba wax we stock not because it’s the most expensive, but because it actually lives up to it’s price and give outstanding results.
Cloths and Chamois are refreshed often (i.e. we buy new ones!). That means the cloths are high quality, soft and grit-free, so your car’s paint remains unharmed.
Machinery is tested and in premium working order. Rest assured, we have a lot of experience and training. We use the machinery on our own cars every weekend!
I could talk all day about which chemicals and products are the best, but I’ll keep this short and sweet. I hope the above few points help you understand just how much pride we take in our work… and how much respect we have for you and your vehicle.

One of the more unusal problems I faced when cleaning this car was the carbon build-up on the leather interior. I’m not sure exactly why this was the case, but I suspect it is because the engine is at the rear of the car; so when the owner drives with the roof down, then the emissions make their way inside the car.
Other than that, a pretty standard detail – but amazing results as ususal!
When I first published the Car Class website, it was the only Perth Car Detailing website to be found. In recent times, especially in the last 6 months, it seems they’re popping up everywhere!
I’ve also noticed an increase in phone calls from people who want to get started with their own car detailing business. It seems that a lot of people are out of work and finding it hard to get a job, so they think that a mobile car detailing business in Perth would be a good low-cost business they could start straight away. I agree to some extent. What concerns me is that most of these people do not see the need for proper training.
Funnily enough, when people do come out on the job with me (for training or to help me out), they’re usually completely exhausted after only half a day’s work. You see, car detailing required stamina. That’s why I’ve developed cleaning systems that let me produce a consistent, magnificent quality end-result every time… in minimum time. Yes, you really can have an amazing wash and wax in around 30 minutes. But only if it’s done properly. Some of these new guys can’t even get your car vacuumed in 30 minutes… and even then, they do a bad job!

This week I purchased a set of new products to test and try. I paid over $100 for a few tiny sample pots of polish. This is expensive stuff. Let’s hope it’s as good as it is pricey. I’m excited to see how they go.
